Wolves boss Mick McCarthy isn't surprised by the form of Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe this season.

McCarthy rates the England striker very highly.

He said: "I've always thought Defoe was different class, a really good player who has just got better and better the older he has got.

"He's quick, powerful and has goals in him, goals of all sorts. He is just a natural finisher."
