Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has blasted the critics of captain Karl Henry.
Henry was sent off and slated for an horrendous challenge on Wigan's Jordi Gomez four weeks ago.
The Wanderers captain returned with an impressive display in the 2-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday.
And McCarthy said: "The whole sorry saga was bulls***.
"All the controversy over tackling is ruining the game. It's dead.
"I love the competitive nature of it. Karl epitomises a good pro. He's not dirty, he made a mistake.
"Poor old Karl only made one bad tackle - he's fantastic."
