Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is happy for Stoke City to wind-up critics with their style of play.
He admires the fact that the Potters' no-nonsense style 'ruffles feathers' as the two sides prepare for today's Molineux meeting.
McCarthy said: "I get a bit tired of the arrogance of other people dictating how teams should play. I love that bloodymindedness of people who play it the way it suits them, win games and have success with it.
"I love the fact people are ruffling feathers by doing it some other way. They've got big players and they use them... Barcelona use their nice tippy-tappy players.
"I can't get my head around people whingeing about Stoke. It's nonsense.
"It does my head in. People only bleat about it when they get done by it. We're not going to moan about a 6ft 6in player who can head the ball.
"We can all sign them. But if they choose not to, don't moan about it! We can't all have Lionel Messi or David Silva.""I loved it when I was at the Spurs game last Sunday and the fans sang '2-0 to the rugby team' and 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot'. The fans were taking the micky out of Tottenham.
