Wolves boss Mick McCarthy says Tottenham fans must now regard Harry Redknapp as some sort of Superhero.
McCarthy insists there is no better candidate to be the next England boss and says all Redknapp needs is a red cape after showing his Premier League super-powers.
He said: "Harry turned up when they were in crisis and hey presto, the next thing you know they're in the Champions League. Talk about Superhero stuff!
"Tony Pulis donned the cape in really difficult circumstances at Stoke the other night and Harry has done the same.
"And it's great when someone wants to be considered as England manager. If it's going to be an Englishman, how many have been more successful than him?
"If he hadn't turned it around and shown that he could do it, they wouldn't have given him £50million or whatever it was he spent, and he's spent it wisely, too.
"I've known Harry years from when I was at Millwall and admired the way his teams play."
