Wolves manager Mick McCarthy feels his side deserves a little bit of luck following their five-match losing streak.

The Molineux outfit host Swansea City tomorrow and are in desperate need of a victory against a team who have not taken a point on the road so far this term.

McCarthy says he and the players have been doing all the usual things hoping to stop the rot but feels perhaps it may take something special to get back on the winners list.

“We are due a break – a little bit of luck wouldn’t go amiss or maybe a bit of something special from someone. Can we find that? That’s what we’re looking for,” he told Express & Star.

“I can dish out all the clichés about working hard on the training ground but we can’t work any harder. I have got the most tenacious and honest bunch of players in the Premier League – in fact, anywhere.”
