Wolves boss Mick McCarthy insists Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will score goals in the Premiership - but won't get near to this season's Championship tally.

McCarthy said: "He hasn't got a chance of scoring 35 goals in the Premier League in 12 months.

"I'm confidently saying that without being derogatory to Sylvan. Tell me who's got 25 goals in the Premier League this season? Who's got 10 this season? There aren't many. I'm not saying anything wrong about him.

"Make no mistake, he'll score goals whatever league he plays in because he's a goalscorer.

"He'll score next season with us in the Premier League.

"But it's going to be impossible for him to be as prolific as he has been and that will annoy him because he loves scoring."
