Wolves boss McCarthy: Doyle getting back to best

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy believes Kevin Doyle is getting back to his best.

The striker impressed for the Republic of Ireland during international week.

"I watched the Ireland game," McCarthy told the Wolves website. "And I think Doyler is getting back to his best now.

"He was still a bit ring-rusty from coming back this pre-season after carrying a bit of a hamstring problem and then a calf injury."
