Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is delighted with the impact of new captain Roger Johnson this season.
The former Birmingham City man was handed the armband after signing for £7million this summer.
Although Johnson is not one to deliver Churchillian addresses, McCarthy is impressed with him.
The manager said: "I don't quite know what people expect when a player is given the armband.
"The thing is to carry on what you did to get that armband, being that same personality.
"That's what he's done. On and off the pitch, he's done everything I could have asked of him. I'm delighted with him."
