Wolves manager Mick McCarthy believes his side thoroughly deserved their 1-0 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday night.
For the second time this season, lowly Wolves got the upper hand on Spurs and McCarthy, who saw his side go down in a disappointing display against Birmingham just days ago, was over the moon after the match.
"The players knew that there was no better way to get over it than play Spurs on Wednesday night and that's been proven," McCarthy told Sky Sports.
"Today I think it's been a hard-fought victory and deservedly in the end.
"The goal was terrific - I think it's as good as you will see in the league."
Wolves now get a week-and-a-half off before taking on some big guns but McCarthy is not worrying about that just yet.
"I'm not worried about the next two games," added the Wolves boss.
"We haven't got a game for 10 days we hurt on Sunday after the Birmingham defeat let's enjoy this and we'll start worrying about Manchester United, Chelsea et al after."
