Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is convinced Matt Jarvis is on the brink of a full England call.
After finding himself sitting next to Franco Baldini, Fabio Capello's No 2 , at the recent Stoke v Manchester United game, he was asked his opinion.
"I told Baldini that I'd give Matt a go in the next friendly, without question," he said. "And if it comes, he'll have deserved it, because he's been great for us.
"I'm mindful that there are a few good wingers about. There's two at Villa and Aaron Lennon at Spurs. But Jarvo is causing everyone problems at the moment.
"At Stamford Bridge, I said to him: "You are marking Ashley Cole". I'll tell you what, I'll bet you Ashley Cole has had as tough a game as he's had in a while, playing cat and mouse all afternoon."
