Wolves boss Mick McCarthy admits he almost dropped himself in it when squaring up to Manchester City star Yaya Toure.
McCarthy doesn't suffer fools lightly, nor will he back down when he feels he should fight his corner.
He revealed that he squared up to Manchester City star Yaya Toure last season - before realising just how big the former Barcelona star was.
Asked to name the most influential Premier League player this season, McCarthy said: "At the moment I'd say Yaya Toure - because I love his name!
"We did have a bit of spat on the sideline last season but we had a love-in after the game and we're friends now. But I realised when he walked off he's about three inches bigger than me. It would have been a good scrap though!
"The Premier League is without doubt the best in the world but it's remorseless, relentless and so unforgiving. If you make a mistake you get punished."
