Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is convinced about the qualify of new signing George Saville.
The former Chelsea midfielder has joined Wolves in a £1 million deal.
"I think Saville can do a bit of everything, but generally he likes to attack," said head coach Jackett.
"He's a very good all-round midfielder that we've done well to get.
"He's one of those players we could have waited a year or two and he'll be worth a lot more and sometimes those players become very difficult to buy.
"There were several other clubs at this level interested in him. But once he saw Wolves were interested and he came here, and having seen us play last year, he thought he could fit in."
Jackett defended bringing in another midfielder, adding: "It's been a good area but if we're looking to improve it's in efforts on goal from that area.
"I haven't necessarily been disappointed with our midfield, but the players playing at present need more competition."
