Christophe Berra is ready for action after shaking off his nasty fall against Manchester City. The Wolves centre-half tumbled onto his head during the closing stages of the first half in Monday's 3-0 defeat at Molineux and failed to return for the second period.
He admits he remembers little of what followed immediately after the incident, but insists he will be fit for duty when Wolves travel to Tranmere in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
"I felt a lot better when I woke up yesterday (Tuesday) morning," Berra told the club's official website.
"My neck was a wee bit stiff and I've got a sore wrist from how I fell, although thankfully no major damage was done.
"I'll have a couple of days' rest and then if all goes well be back in training with the boys on Friday.
"I do remember going up for the header itself but it left me dazed and I can't remember much about the lads coming in at half-time.
"But after a few minutes everything started to become clearer.
"A lot of people have said how bad it all looked on television but I'm a big, strong guy so hopefully that helped."
