Wolves' bench strength has resurrected season say Hunt

Wolves are on the verge of survival this season and winger Stephen Hunt puts it down to the fact that key players have returned from injury.

Saturday's 3-1 away win at Sunderland was the first time the club had picked up two in a row following on from the 3-1 home win over West Bromwich Albion the week prior and Hunt, who has come back into the line-up to great effect, says the depth and strength of the bench has been a key contributing factor.

"We've all had injuries as well in a squad that's had its fair share of injuries. (Kevin) Doyle's been out for a long time and it's great to have him back," he told Express and Star.

"(Christophe) Berra hasn't been too far off Player of the Season in my eyes anyway so with those two and (Matt) Jarvis on the bench, it shows how far we've come.

"I just want to stay positive and keep our feet on the ground.

"We've had two good wins but there's still plenty of hard work to do with this last game."
