Wolves are set to beat Premier League interest for Crewe Alexandra midfielder Luke Murphy.

Murphy had been linked with Stoke City and Aston Villa since the end of last season.

But the Express & Star says Wolves have reportedly agreed a fee with new League One rivals Crewe for Murphy. The 25-year-old could cost as much as £2.5million.
