Dave Edwards has targeted immediate promotion back to the Premier League for Wolves.
The Molineux club were relegated from the top flight after finishing on the bottom of the table but midfielder Edwards feels the loyal fans deserve to be watching their team in England's best league and not the second tier.
"We need a good start to next season and then hopefully that momentum can carry us through.
"It's really important to get off to a good start - teams who have gone down in the past have had a bit of a hangover at the start of the season.
