Bolton managed to hold off a fast-finishing Wolves to go fifth on the table and continue their good recent run with a 3-2 win.
Things got off to a horror start for Wolves when Richard Stearman headed past his own goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann to give Bolton the lead in the first minute.
Trotters got a second from Johan Elmander who turned in a crowd of defenders before finishing neatly in the 62nd minute before Stuart Holden made it 3-0 five minutes later when he slotted home a Lee Chung-yong pass.
Wolves got one back in the 69th minute when Kevin Foley angled past Jussi Jaaskelainen and then there was some real hope when Steven Fletcher nodded home with just over ten minutes left.
But it wasn't enough for Wolves to grab any points as they went equal at the bottom with West Ham United who drew 0-0 with Blackpool.
