Wolfsburg boss Steve McLaren is reportedly on the trail of Chelsea starlet Jeffrey Bruma.
The 18-year old Dutchman is set to sign a year-long loan deal with the German club despite playing in the Blues' opening pre-season friendly against Crystal Palace.
McLaren tried to sign Bruma when he was at the helm at Twente Enschede and has now reignited his interest for the centre-half who can double as a right-back.
