Wolfsburg appear set to offer Kevin De Bruyne a lucurative new deal worth £100,000-a-week, as the Bundesliga club looks to keep the Belgian international from departing for big-spending Manchester City.
According to reports from mirror.co.uk, Wolfsburg are willing to break the bank to keep the attacking midfielder, who scored 10 goals in 34 Bundesliga appearances last season.
City are believed to have a keen interest in De Bruyne, but Wolfsburg are hopeful their big money offer will be enough to keep the 23-year-old in Germany.
"We'll be sitting down with Kevin's advisors," Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs said.
De Bruyne has reportedly also attracted interest Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
