VfL Wolfsburg striker Victor Osimhen admits he chose the Germans ahead of Arsenal.

Osimhen won the U17 World Cup with Nigeria in 2015.

"There were many clubs that were interested in me. But my choice fell nevertheless to the VfL, because I think that my development opportunities are highest here," he said.

"Had I gone to Arsenal, for example, I might not have found the way to the first team so quickly.

"I've worked hard to get where I am now."
