VfL Wolfsburg have launched a bid for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

Chicharito is this season playing on-loan with Real Madrid, which will send him back to United in June.

German media sources say Wolfsburg are keen on the Mexico international and are readying an offer of €12 million to present to United.

United boss Louis van Gaal has no room for the striker in his plans and will be happy to sell this summer.

Southampton are also keen on Chicharito.
