Wolfsburg are weighing up cashing in on Arsenal target Julian Draxler this summer.
WAZ says Wolfsburg chiefs are concerned with the fee they paid Schalke last summer for Draxler being heavy on bonus payments.
VfL are facing having to pay up to €40 million for the attacker and could seek to instead cash in immediately, with an extra €7 million still due.
Arsenal, it is claimed, are prepared to pay €60 million for the Euros star.
However, publicly, VfL chief Klaus Allofs has stated: "With Julian Draxler, he will be 100 percent with us. He will stay at VfL. Since there has been no discussion."
