German club Wolfsburg have thrown their hat into the ring regarding the transfer of Darren Bent.
Aston Villa are prepared to sell the 29-year old striker this summer with Newcastle United showing plenty of interest.
However, Wolfsburg have now joined the chase for Bent who has a record of 103 goals in 246 Premier League appearances.
