Wolfsburg are monitoring Robert Huth's situation at Stoke City.

The Germany international has found himself squeezed out of the first team this season following the arrivals of England pair Matthew Upson and Jonathan Woodgate.

Hamburg chief Frank Arnesen has made tentative enquiries about Huth's readiness to return to Germany in January and now Wolfsburg have joined the battle.
