Wolfsburg chief Klaus Allofs has ruled out a straight loan deal for Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne.

Allofs says Wolfsburg are keen on the Belgian, but only on terms of a long-term arrangement.

"If Chelsea really want to send him away, we are in the running," said Allofs.

"(But) we want to buy or loan him with the option to buy."
