Wolfsburg want to bring Juventus midfielder Diego back to Germany.

The Bundesliga giants are keen to use Edin Dzeko as a bargaining chip in negotiations for the Brazil international.

AC Milan have been tracking Dzeko since last January, but do not have the €40 million needed to land the Bosnia striker. Instead, German sources say Wolfsburg want to open swap talks with Juve which would see Dzeko move to Turin for Diego and a cash component.

Diego is also wanted by Bayern Munich in a swap deal for Franck Ribery.
