Wolfsburg defender Simon Kjaer has hopes of extending his stay at AS Roma.

Kjaer has reaffirmed his desire to stay in the capital, but with one condition for Zdenek Zeman.

"The purchase option expired on June 1, but we expected this, given that they had yet to announce their new Coach," the defender told Calcionews24.com.

"I am calm, I would like to stay, but it won't be if I have to settle into a new system."
