Witteveen set to leave Hearts with MLS a likely landing pad

Heart of Midlothian striker David Witteveen is set to leave the Scottish club and could be on his way to MLS according to reports.

The 25-year old Austrian's contract at Tynecastle ends at the end of the season but he is keen to get out a bit earlier suggests The Edinburgh News.

Witteveen recently completed a loan deal to First Division outfit Dundee and is currently negotiating an exit from Hearts and his agent confirmed that a shift to the USA was a possibility.

"David has left Dundee and we will decide if he stays with Hearts or not. Everything is possible. He also has a chance to play in the USA so we will see what happens," said agent Christoph Wortmann.
