The winner of a charity competition organised by Didier Drogba almost dropped the Chelsea icon right in it!
The Daily Mail says Drogba managed to keep a straight face at his charity ball as the winner of a training session with the Ivorian striker offered to donate the prize to his misfiring colleague Fernando Torres.
It was the same day Drogba bagged his 100th Premier League goal, but with the money raised heading to the Ivory Coast's capital, Abidjan, to fund the building of a clinic, many will consider this the greater achievement. The guest bid £15,000 for the prize, which formed part of more than £250,000 raised by The Didier Drogba Foundation at the ball on Saturday night.
