Windass confident Hull in good position with Marco Silva

Former Hull City striker Dean Windass feels that the Tigers have turned the a corner under manager Marco Silva.

The Tigers have picked up positive results against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United since Silva took over, but they still find themselves in the relegation zone.

Windass feels that Hull's next three games - Burnley, Leicester City and Swansea City - could make or break their season but feels Silva is the right man to guide them to of the mire.

"Since Marco Silva's took over, the performance levels have gone right up, results have improved," Windass told Daily Mail.

"The manager will tell you, and the coaching staff and the players as well, it's not just about playing well, it's about results. And we've turned the corner a little bit.

"These next three games will be massively important to us. So if we can keep the performance levels up, and turn them into results, I'm sure we'll stay up this year.

"There's a long way to go yet, I don't think the manager will be getting carried away, or the players. But certainly they'll be happier.

"If we can get seven points from the next three games, then we'll be on track."
