Windass admits Hull could do a Derby

Dean Windass admits he has no idea how Hull City will cope with their maiden Premiership campaign.

The former Middlesbrough and Bradford City striker told the Daily Mail: "There could be as many as five players who have never experienced Premier League football.

"For that reason, it's impossible to predict how we will do this season. Impossible to know if we will survive or we'll be another Derby.

"All I know is we have a terrific, ambitious, manager in Phil Brown and players who want to prove they're good enough. And we know it's been done before. At Bradford we stayed up for a season before Paul Jewell left. And look at Wigan and Bolton."
