Sheffield United boss Danny Wilson is playing the waiting game over player sales, but admits he is looking for up to five new faces at Bramall Lane. The new Blades boss sealed his first signing on Monday, bringing defender Jean-Francois Lescinel from former club Swindon.
"We are on talking terms with players but the fact is we are unsure who will be available prior to the start of the season, but that is nothing unusual across the country at the moment," Wilson told the club`s official website.
"We are talking to clubs just in case certain individuals leave and, in different situations, even if current players remain at the club and would like to do something else in particular areas.
"Numbers are difficult to work out at this time but looking at the areas where we are short, I would probably be looking at getting four or five players in."
