James Wilson wants to stay at Manchester United and fight for a spot in the first-team.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the 19-year-old striker is determined to prove himself to Louis van Gaal and earn a place in the plans of the Dutchman.
Van Gaal currently has captain Wayne Rooney as his number one striker while adding Frenchman Anthony Martial on deadline day.
The like of Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and even Memphis Depay can take up attacking positions meaning Wilson will have to quickly show the boss what he is capable of before United send him out on loan to a Championship club.
