Wilson dares to believe Sheff Utd could win promotion at first attempt

Sheffield United boss Danny Wilson believes his team could bounce straight back to the Championship at the first attempt after their 4-0 win over Yeovil. The Blades climbed up to second place in the table with a 10th win in 11 games.

Wilson said: "It was very good. I thought we played very well. The efforts were from players who were full of confidence. They are all technically very good and they have got goals in them.

"Defensively we were tremendous and aerially we won virtually every header. The wide boys caused problems all the time and the central midfielders passed very well.

"It was a great team effort. It puts us in second position and we can go to Bury in a buoyant mood.

"When you've got 50 points at this stage of the season, you're going to be in with a good chance. You've got to get the wins on the table and we're doing that."
