Stoke City defender Marc Wilson is on the comeback trail.

The left-back continued his recovery from a broken leg when he came through 90 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly against Burnley at the Britannia Stadium yesterday.

Wilson told The Sentinel: "I am looking towards the Fulham game. I think the game on Monday will benefit me and then I have the rest of the week to get myself right for the weekend.

"I want to be back out on the pitch. Just watching isn't the same."
