Danny Wilson admits this coming season is make-or-break for him at Liverpool.
With a season left on his Anfield deal, Wilson could quit if Rodgers does not indicate he'll be a part of his plans.
The 20-year-old told the Scottish Sun: "I don't know what's going to happen, as there has been nobody at Liverpool to talk to, with both the manager and the director of football leaving.
"I'll just go back and be ready for next season and if I'm included then great. If not, I'll look somewhere else to get some football. It's been strange as I went to Blackpool to play and I did that for the first ten games.
"Then I didn't play any football after that and I really don't understand why. There's no self-doubt in me as I know what I can do.
"If a manager tells me I'm not playing, it doesn't make me think I'm a bad player as it's just his opinion."
