Jack Wilshere admits he's leaning on the advice of Arsenal teammate Theo Walcott as he prepares to make a first Premiership start.

"When Theo [Walcott] was young he would play a game then not play again for six months," said Wilshere. "That can be tough, so he's been giving me advice on that.

"Maybe I am following the same path as him so it's helpful to have him around. He's now a proper member of the first XI and that's what I want to be."
