Jack Wilshere says he cannot shy away from the pressures that come with being an international footballer.
The talented midfielder has already amassed well over 120 first team appearances for the Gunners and has also represented England on no less than 15 occasions despite being just 22 years of age.
Wilshere admits that the pressure at times can affect his performances but insists that it is part and parcel of being a professional footballer in this day and age.
"It's brought pressure on me. I'm not sure it's unwanted pressure. I think when you play at the highest level, there is pressure all the time," told RWD Football.
"Also a lot of fans pay good money and a lot of people come and watch like friends, family and the media in particular. That's their job. So they have to analyse your performance and they have to have someone who they can sort of put up on a pedestal."
