Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is set to give midfielder Jack Wilshere another opportunity in his side despite the player's recent red card in a U23 game.

The England, who has recently recovered from a foot fracture, recently started a brawl in the U23 game against Man City following a bad tackle from one of the City youths.

However, according to the Mirror, Wenger has recently held heart-to-heart talks with Wilshere and the French manager has assured the midfielder of his place in his plans this season.

The 25-year-old has only one year left in current deal with the North London club.
