Wilshere sorry Arsenal pals Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott missing England games

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is disappointed teammates Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott won't be fit for England this week.

Wilshere insists his team-mates will be sorely missed for this home double-header, but hopes to see them back in action soon.

"They bring a lot of pace to the team, a lot of quality," he told the FA website.

"Theo is great in front of goal and Alex is an exciting player, so we're going to miss them.

"I think Theo is a bit closer to coming back than Alex, but he's working hard and is in good shape so when he gets a chance to run again he'll be fit."
