Jack Wilshere was delighted for Arsenal matchwinner Aaron Ramsey after victory over Manchester United.
Wilshere believes there is more to come from them and several other young Gunners stars.
He said: "He's my friend and I'm delighted for him, we've seen him go through hell he's come back he's fought his way back into the starting line-up and he was brilliant today. I look forward to playing with him more in the future.
[He] is a good player and good players think alike, we linked up well today. If Cesc's playing it's a different game he's one of our best players and we miss him obviously but we knew we had to step up today and me and Aaron did.
"We played a young team today and we beat [United] so the future looks bright for us, we showed we can play against anyone.
"I'm looking forward to playing in midfield with Aaron [Ramsey] and with Theo [Walcott] on the wing. There's still Kieran Gibbs [to come in as well].
"[We've got a lot] of British players [coming through], it can only be good for Arsenal."
