Jack Wilshere is expected to be fully fit for Arsenal's Premier League kickoff.
The Sunday Mirror says the operation to cure an ankle problem that has troubled the Arsenal and England star for two years has been a success.
He underwent the crucial surgery at the end of last season to replace screws in his ankle.
And Wilshere, will be ready for the start of Arsenal's pre-season training on July 4.
The plan is to take the 21-year-old on the club's pre-season tour to south-east Asia and he will then be ready for the start of the Premier League campaign in August.
