Wilshere enjoying life at Arsenal again

Jack Wilshere believes that he is having fun at Arsenal again, after a difficult few seasons.

Wilshere was once seen as one of the most promising young midfielders in English football. But a series of injuries meant that he fell down the pecking order at Arsenal.

He even had to spend time at Bournemouth on loan to get match fitness. But he believes this season has been a turnaround.

"I'm enjoying it," said Wilshere. "I'm enjoying playing and I want to play as much as I can. I've said before that I've missed way too much football and I'm just enjoying it at the minute."

Wilshere believes that Arsenal could have played better against Southampton in the side's 1-1 draw at St. Mary's, but the team's spirit is there for everyone to see.

"I don't think it was our best team performance, but we showed character and dug in at the end and if you can't win a game, don't lose a game. We might look back at the end of the season and see it as a valuable point," he continued.

Arsenal will be hoping to get maximum points in the next few games so they can cement a position in the top four, with competition tight for those spaces.
