Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere is delighted with the progress he's made this season.
Whether Arsenal end their trophy drought remains to be seen, but this season will always be a landmark one for the young Gunner.
He said: "I always believed I could become an established part of the team, but maybe I didn't think it would come this early. I just have to thank the boss for showing faith in me and keeping me in there.
"There is a lot more to come from me, especially at my age.
"There are players around me I can learn from day in, day out."
Wilshere has been asked to curb his attacking instincts by Gunners boss Wenger this season, with the Frenchman deploying him in a deep-lying central midfield role.
He added: "I like to get further forward, but if it helps the team for me to sit, then it is good for us.
"It's good for me to learn. Playing with Cesc Fabregas and watching him go forward, you can only learn."
