Jack Wilshere insists he will get over the devastation of being ruled out for the both the domestic season and this summer’s Euros.

The 20-year old Arsenal midfielder has not played since injuring his ankle in pre-season and today found out that he is no chance of playing for England at the European Championships. Although he admits he is ‘gutted’, Wilshere has vowed to continue working as hard as possible until he is back out on the pitch for both club and country.

"Gutted, sad, devastated..its been a test mentally for me this season and it will continue to be tough until I am back out on the pitch..” he posted on Twitter.

"I hope England can do well and bring home the cup! I will be watching and cheering the boys on like a proper England fan!

"The hardest thing is being away from the game that I love and not being to able to help my team mates get 3rd place! I will be in all summer."
