Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has bet Tottenham fans they won't finish above the Gunners this season.

Spurs are being tipped by many to gatecrash the top four for the second time in three seasons.

But Arsenal's Wilshere has promised to put his money where his mouth is and donate £3,000 to charity if the White Hart Lane club finish above his own.

He tweeted: "All spurs fans buzzing that they are ahead of us in the league (for once). Its a marathon, not a sprint!

"I tell you what at the end of the season if spurs finish above arsenal I will give £3000 to charity and if arsenal finish above spurs every spurs fan that follows me must send me a pound each and I will give it to the Jack Marshall charity!"
