Belgium boss Marc Wilmots has warned Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini he plans to field Vincent Kompany tonight against Scotland.

The 26-year-old missed City's last game against Sunderland with the problem but Belgium boss Wilmots is confident he is fit to play.

"Before the friendly game against Netherlands, Mancini called me," he said. "I rested Kompany then. Now, it's a qualifier - that's something else.

"He can call me, but Vincent is fit to play. Mancini really need not worry. We would not take a risk with a player."
