Portsmouth defender Mike Williamson insists the players were never unsettled by the takeover rumours.
Pompey appear to be on an even keel with Ali Al Faraj now in charge and ex-Watford centre-half Williamson said: "It has all been up in the air but it's brought us closer together, really.
"We are just getting on with it. Everyone is working hard day in, day out, but it seems to have settled down now and hopefully it will show on the pitch and we can kick on from the three points last week.
"What stability does is give you the confidence to not worry about anything else except on the pitch. Not that I think any of the boys did anyway, really. We know what our job is and that's not off the pitch.
"Everyone has been professional about it and gone about their business."
