Former Watford defender Mike Williamson is not disappointed about his slow start at Portsmouth.

He said: "I didn't expect to come to a Premier League club and walk straight into the side.

"I spoke to the gaffer before I joined and he made me aware of the situation. The way I look at it, I now have the opportunity to put myself on the bigger stage and I'm enjoying my time here."
