Swansea City have made skipper Ashley Williams a new contract offer.

The Daily Star says Ashley Williams has been offered a new four-year extension by the Premier League high-flyers.

The Swansea centre-back, 28, who has two years left on his current deal, said: "It's a boost and always nice to be wanted.

"We've made a great start, perfect in fact, I'm captain and I'm enjoying it."
